This is an exciting time to join the North West Rail Link project as we embark on building Australia's biggest public transport infrastructure project.
In fact, the North West Rail Link is as significant to the people of the North West as the Sydney Harbour Bridge was to the North Shore.
When the North West Rail Link opens in the first half of 2019, it will benefit not only the 400,000 people who already live in the North West region, but also the extra 200,000 people who will be living in the area over the next 20 years.
To help us achieve our commitment to deliver a quality rail link that meets the needs of our customers, the project team will be looking for talented candidates to help us shape the future of a world-class system.
Jobs will become available for the North West Rail Link as construction work progresses and the three major contracts are awarded for the project. The three contracts are:
Tunnels and Station Civil Works (i.e. tunnelling)
Surface and Viaduct Civil Works (i.e. skytrain)
Operations, Trains and Systems.

In addition, to maximise the benefits of construction of the North West Rail Link for businesses in the North West and all of NSW, an industry “match-making” program has been established.
The program helps link businesses and trades like electricians, plumbers, truck drivers, concreters, tilers, mechanics and surveyors with the managers of each major contract on the North West Rail Link.
The program is being run by Industry Capability Network, a business network that connects companies to projects and is funded by the NSW Government through NSW Trade and Investment.
